Teri Hatcher (born December 8, 1964) is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her portrayals of Lois Lane on the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993–1997), Paris Carver in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), and Susan Mayer on the television series Desperate Housewives (2004–2012). Hatcher won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy and three Screen Actors Guild Awards for her role on Desperate Housewives. She was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. Hatcher was born in Palo Alto, California, and has Welsh, Choctaw Indian, French, German, and Syrian ancestry.
