Terri Garber

Terri Garber (born December 28, 1960) is an American actress and entrepreneur. She made her acting debut as Allison Linden on the daytime soap opera Texas in 1982 and appeared in her first feature film, Toy Soldiers, in 1984. Garber gained recognition for her role as wicked Southern belle Ashton Main in the 1985 ABC miniseries North and South, which was based on the novel by John Jakes. She reprised the role in the sequel miniseries, North and South: Book II, and the final installment, Heaven and Hell: North and South Book III. Garber's portrayal of Ashton received acclaim, and the character's escapades continue to be remembered and appreciated by fans.
