Terry Kiser Biography
Terry Kiser (born August 1, 1939) is an American actor with a career spanning over 50 years. He is best known for his role as the deceased title character in the comedy films Weekend at Bernie's and its sequel, Weekend at Bernie's II. Kiser has appeared in over 140 acting credits, including various TV shows and movies. He co-founded the acting school The Actors Arena in Austin, Texas. Born in Elmhurst, Illinois, Kiser moved to New York City in 1965 to pursue acting full-time, joining the Actors Studio and working with Lee Strasberg. He gained recognition for his work in 1967, winning acclaim for his performances in both theater and television.
