Terry Sweeney

Terry Sweeney is an American artist, actor, and writer best known for his work on Saturday Night Live in the 1980s. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Sweeney discovered his passion for performing arts at a young age and became a star of his high school talent show. After graduating from Farmingdale High School, he attended Middlebury College where he continued to pursue his interest in the arts while studying Spanish and Italian. Sweeney joined the cast of SNL in 1985 and also co-wrote the film 'Shag' in 1989. Throughout his career, he has written for television series such as MADtv, Hype, and Tripping the Rift.
