Tevin Jermod Campbell is an American singer and songwriter, born on November 12, 1976. He began his musical journey performing gospel in his local church at a young age. In 1988, Campbell auditioned for jazz musician Bobbi Humphrey, which led to a signing with Warner Bros. Records. The following year, he collaborated with Quincy Jones for the song 'Tomorrow' on Jones' album 'Back on the Block.' Campbell's debut album, 'T.E.V.I.N,' was released in 1989 and went Platinum. It featured the hit single 'Tell Me What You Want Me to Do.' His second album, 'I'm Ready,' released in 1993, was double-Platinum and included the popular songs 'Can We Talk' and 'I'm Ready.'
