The Isley Brothers

The Isley Brothers are an American family musical group that originated from Cincinnati, Ohio. Consisting of brothers O'Kelly 'Kelly' Isley Jr., Rudolph Isley, and Ronald Isley, the group started as a vocal trio in the late 1950s. With a career spanning over six decades, the Isley Brothers have established themselves as one of the longest-standing, influential, and diverse groups in popular music. Originally performing gospel music alongside their fourth brother, Vernon, the group gained recognition in the late 1950s and achieved their first chart success in 1959 with the hit single 'Shout.' Throughout the 1960s, they recorded songs for various labels, including the popular tracks 'Twist and Shout' and 'This Old Heart of Mine (Is Weak for You).'
