Theresa Caputo

Theresa Caputo (born June 10, 1967) is an American purported psychic medium and television personality. She gained widespread recognition through her TLC reality television series Long Island Medium, which aired from 2011 to 2019. Caputo was born and raised in Hicksville, New York, and has a brother named Michael. Her father, Nicholas Brigandi, served as a volunteer firefighter and worked for the Nassau County Department of Public Works. Caputo is also a published author, having written four books, and she tours under the name 'Theresa Caputo Live! The Experience.' While Caputo has a large following, her abilities have been questioned by skeptics and organizations such as Inside Edition and the James Randi Educational Foundation.
