Theresa Tova (born 1955) is a Canadian actress, singer, and playwright. Known for her play Still the Night, Tova received several accolades including Dora Mavor Moore Awards in 1997 and a nomination for the Governor General's Award for English-language drama in 1999. Raised in Calgary, Alberta, she is the daughter of Polish Jewish survivors of the Holocaust. Tova has primarily focused on stage and musical theatre, with notable appearances in the television series E.N.G. in the early 1990s. Her role as Marge Atherton earned her a Gemini Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role. Tova's play Still the Night, which intertwines Jewish music with the story of two young Holocaust survivors, was staged in 1996 by Theatre Passe Muraille and received four Dora Awards in 1997.
