    Theresa Wong (born March 31, 1976) is an American cellist, vocalist, composer, and improviser known for her work in the field of experimental music. Born in Schenectady, New York, she studied classical piano and cello in her early years and attended Stanford University, where she earned a B.S. in product design. Wong furthered her studies in graphic design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and completed a Master of Fine Arts at Mills College in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has collaborated with renowned musicians such as Fred Frith, Joan Jeanrenaud, Alvin Curran, Joëlle Léandre, and Annie Gosfield. Wong's debut album, 'The Unlearning,' released in 2011, showcases her talent on cello and voice alongside Carla Kihlstedt on violin and voice.
