Thom Yorke

Thomas Edward Yorke (born 7 October 1968) is an English musician known for his role as the main vocalist and songwriter of the rock band Radiohead. Yorke is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar and keyboards, and is recognized for his falsetto singing style. He co-founded Radiohead while attending Abingdon School in Oxfordshire. The band gained international fame with their debut single 'Creep' in 1992, and has since sold over 30 million albums. Yorke's musical influences range from alternative rock acts like Pixies and R.E.M. to electronic music artists such as Aphex Twin, which inspired his transition to electronic music in his solo work. He is also known for his collaboration with artist Stanley Donwood on the artwork for Radiohead albums.
