Thora Birch

Thora Birch is an American actress, producer, and director. She began her acting career in 1988 with her role in Purple People Eater, which earned her a Young Artist Award. Birch gained popularity as a child star in the 1990s, appearing in films like Paradise, Patriot Games, and Hocus Pocus. She continued to showcase her talent in movies such as Monkey Trouble, Now and Then, and Alaska. Birch's breakthrough into adult-oriented roles came with her performance in American Beauty, where she received a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She received critical acclaim and a Golden Globe nomination for her role in Ghost World.
