Atiim Kiambu 'Tiki' Barber (born April 7, 1975) is an American former professional football player who played as a running back for the New York Giants in the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons. He was selected by the Giants in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft and holds the record for most rushing yards and receptions in the team's history. Barber retired from the NFL in 2007 as one of only four players with over 5,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving yards. He was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in 2011. After his football career, Barber became a prominent media personality, appearing on NBC's The Today Show and Football Night in America/Sunday Night Football. He has also authored multiple books. Barber is the twin brother of former NFL player Ronde Barber.
