Tim Armstrong

Timothy Ross Armstrong (born November 25, 1965) is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as the singer/guitarist for the punk rock band Rancid and the hip hop/punk rock supergroup Transplants. Before forming Rancid, Armstrong was a member of the ska punk band Operation Ivy. In 1997, he co-founded Hellcat Records with Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion. Armstrong has released his music through his website under the name Tim Timebomb and has also worked as a songwriter for other artists. He has won a Grammy Award for his work with artists such as Jimmy Cliff and Pink and has collaborated with Joe Walsh and The Interrupters.
