Tim Cook

Timothy Donald Cook is an American business executive who has been the chief executive officer of Apple Inc. since 2011. Born on November 1, 1960, Cook joined Apple in 1998 as a senior vice president for worldwide operations. He later served as the executive vice president for worldwide sales and operations before becoming the chief executive officer. Under his leadership, Apple has experienced significant growth, with doubled revenue and profit from 2011 to 2020, and the company's market value increasing from $348 billion to $1.9 trillion. Cook is also known for his advocacy in areas such as political reformation, cybersecurity, American manufacturing, and environmental preservation. He serves on the boards of directors of Nike, Inc. and the National Football Foundation, and is a trustee of Duke University.
