Tim Curry Biography
Timothy James Curry (born 19 April 1946) is an English actor and singer. He is well-known for his role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the film The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), which he also played in the original stage productions. Curry has had an extensive career in theater, with notable roles in productions such as Hair, Travesties, Amadeus, My Favourite Year, and Spamalot. He has received three Tony Award nominations and two Laurence Olivier Award nominations for his stage work. In addition to his theater success, Curry has appeared in films like Annie (1982), Legend (1985), and Clue (1985), as well as the miniseries It (1990) where he portrayed Pennywise.
