Tim Hauser
Tim Hauser (December 12, 1941 – October 16, 2014) was a singer and founding member of the vocal group The Manhattan Transfer. Born in Troy, New York, Hauser later moved to the Jersey Shore, where he graduated from St. Rose High School in 1959. He began singing professionally at the age of fifteen and founded the doo-wop quartet The Criterions. After entering Villanova University, Hauser formed the folk group the Troubadours Three with Tommy West and Jim Ruf. Hauser achieved great success as a member of The Manhattan Transfer, winning 10 Grammy Awards. He passed away in 2014, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the music industry.
