Tim Kazurinsky Biography
Tim Kazurinsky is an American actor and screenwriter, born on March 3, 1950, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He is best known for his work as a cast member and writer on Saturday Night Live, as well as his role as Carl Sweetchuck in the Police Academy films. Kazurinsky's father was American-born, of Polish descent, and his mother was an Australian war bride. He spent his childhood in Australia, attending Birrong Boys High School. At the age of 16, he moved to America and graduated from Greater Johnstown High School in 1967. Before pursuing acting, Kazurinsky worked as a reporter and copywriter. He later joined The Second City improv troupe in Chicago in 1978, honing his improvisational skills.
