Tim Robinson is an American comedian, actor, writer, and producer. He gained initial fame as a writer and performer on Saturday Night Live from 2012 to 2014. Robinson later co-created, co-wrote, and starred in the comedy series Detroiters (2017–2018) and I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson (2019–present). Born on May 23, 1981, in a suburb of Detroit, Robinson was raised in Clarkston and Waterford. He graduated from Clarkston High School in 2000 and began attending weekend improv classes at Second City's Detroit branch. Alongside his comedy pursuits, Robinson held various jobs including working in a toy store and teaching improv classes.
