Tim Russ Biography
Tim Russ (born June 22, 1956) is an American actor, musician, screenwriter, director, and amateur astronomer. He gained fame for his portrayal of Lieutenant Commander Tuvok on the television series Star Trek: Voyager. Russ has also appeared in various films and TV shows, including Crossroads (1986), East of Hope Street (1998), Samantha Who?, iCarly, and The Highwaymen (1987–1988). He reprised his role as Captain Tuvok in Season 3 of Star Trek: Picard. Russ was born in Washington, D.C., and spent part of his childhood in Turkey. He graduated from St. Edward's University with a degree in theater arts and attended graduate school at Illinois State University.
