Timothy Richard Tebow, born on August 14, 1987, is an American sports broadcaster and former football quarterback. He gained recognition for his exceptional college football career at the University of Florida, where he became the first underclassman to win the Heisman Trophy in 2007. Tebow played a significant role in leading the Florida Gators to two BCS National Championships (2006 and 2008), and he was named the MVP of the 2009 BCS National Championship Game. Known for his dual-threat abilities, Tebow set numerous passing and rushing records during his time in college, including the highest passing efficiency rating in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and the most rushing touchdowns. In the NFL, Tebow was selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft and later became the team's starting quarterback in the 2011 season.
