Tim Woodward Biography
Tim Woodward is an English actor, born on 24 April 1953 in Kensington, London, England. He is the son of actors Edward Woodward and Venetia Barrett. Woodward received his education at Haileybury and Imperial Service College. One of his notable roles was as Royal Flying Corps pilot Sergeant Alan Farmer in the 1970s BBC drama Wings. He gained further recognition for his portrayal of Squadron Leader Rex in Piece of Cake (1988). Woodward has also appeared in the children's television show Wide-Eye as an audio narrator. Additionally, he has appeared in popular TV shows such as Families, Heartbeat, Murder City, and the ITV adaptation of Jake Arnott's crime novel He Kills Coppers as Leonard 'Nipper' Read of Scotland Yard.
