Tim Wylton Biography
Tim Wylton, born Timothy Higginson on 27 February 1940, is a British actor known for his television roles in My Hero as Stanley Dawkins and As Time Goes By as Lol Ferris. He began his acting career on the stage, appearing in Zeffirelli's production of Romeo and Juliet at the Old Vic in 1961 and becoming a prominent member of the Royal Shakespeare Company from 1963 to 1977. Wylton attended Strathallan School and RADA before making his television debut in 1964. His early appearances include The Comedy of Errors, The Liver Birds, and The Sweeney. In the 1980s, he appeared in Bergerac, To Serve Them All My Days, and A Bit of a Do, among others. Wylton has also appeared in films, including Curse of the Pink Panther in 1983.
