Timothy Bateson Biography
Timothy Bateson (3 April 1926 – 15 September 2009) was an English actor known for his work in film, television, and radio. Born in London, he was the son of solicitor Dingwall Latham Bateson and had a background in history. Bateson's stage credits included the first British production of Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot in 1955. He also starred in the BBC adventure serial The Adventures of Peter Simple in 1957. Bateson appeared in various film and TV productions such as The Avengers, The Cadfael Chronicles, Doctor Who, and Labyrinth. Additionally, he provided voices for characters in the children's TV series TUGS in 1989.
