Timothy Granaderos Jr. (born September 9, 1986) is an American actor and model. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Montgomery De La Cruz in the popular Netflix teen drama series 13 Reasons Why. In addition to his role in 13 Reasons Why, Granaderos has also appeared in the psychological thriller web series Tagged as Ash Franklin and in the TV show In the Vault as Taylor Price in 2017. Before pursuing acting, Granaderos worked as a production assistant on the short film Committed. He was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and was raised in Portage, Michigan. Granaderos is of half-Filipino descent and has a background in advertising, having graduated from Michigan State University with a major in advertising and also playing on the Michigan State Spartans men's soccer team.
