Timothy V. Murphy Biography
Timothy Vincent Murphy (born 5 April 1960) is an Irish actor based in Los Angeles. He is best known for his roles on The Bastard Executioner, Grace and Frankie, and True Detective. Murphy gained recognition for his portrayal of Galen O'Shea on the FX series Sons of Anarchy, winning the 2013 BuzzFocus Readers Choice Award for 'Best Villain.' He has also appeared on popular shows such as NCIS: Los Angeles, Criminal Minds, and Hawaii Five-0. Murphy began his career in Dublin and trained at the Focus Theater. He studied Law and Accounting at University College Cork. Murphy has also traveled in South Africa and worked on a variety of television projects.
