Tina Benko Biography
Tina Benko is an American actress and acting teacher known for her roles in film, theatre, and television acting. She has appeared in numerous productions on and off Broadway, including A Midsummer Night's Dream. Benko has also made notable appearances in TV series such as Flesh and Bone, The Good Wife, and Brotherhood, as well as in films including The Adults. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award for her portrayal of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in Elfriede Jelinek's Jackie in 2013. She also won the St. Clair Bayfield Award for playing Titania in Julie Taymor's A Midsummer Night's Dream. In addition to her acting career, Benko teaches at HB Studio and Fordham University, and has narrated Peter de Jonge's novel Shadows Still Remain.
