Tino Insana Biography
Tino Insana (February 15, 1948 – May 31, 2017) was an American actor, producer, writer, and comedian. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Insana co-founded the comedy troupe West Compass Trio in 1971 with Steve Beshekas and John Belushi. He later left to form his own group, The Graduates, with Jim Staahl and Jim Fisher. Insana made his film debut in 1977 and wrote episodes for TV shows like Police Squad! and Sledge Hammer!. He also served as a story editor on both series. Insana's career spanned several decades and included appearances on television, in clubs, campuses, and corporate presentations. He passed away on May 31, 2017.
