Tobin Bell (born Joseph Henry Tobin Jr.; August 7, 1942) is an American actor known for his role as John Kramer / Jigsaw in the Saw franchise. Starting his career in the late 1970s, Bell initially did stand-ins and background work on feature films. He gained his first feature film role in Mississippi Burning (1988) and went on to appear in supporting roles in films like The Firm (1993) and television shows like The Sopranos (2001) and 24 (2003).
