Toby-Alexander Smith

Toby-Alexander Smith (born 26 February 1991) is an English actor known for his role as Gray Atkins in the BBC soap opera EastEnders from 2019 to 2022. Born in Lichfield, Staffordshire, Smith discovered his passion for acting while attending school. He furthered his training at Arts Educational Schools in London. Smith made his television debut with a guest appearance on the American drama series Berlin Station in 2016, followed by a role in the BBC soap opera Doctors as Jason Carswell. He also appeared as Terry in the series Flack and as Lo-Ran in the DC universe's Krypton. Smith's portrayal of Gray Atkins in EastEnders gained attention for addressing the issue of domestic abuse.
