Toby Schmitz

Toby Schmitz (born 4 May 1977) is an Australian actor and playwright. He attended Perth's Scotch College and briefly studied law at the University of Western Australia before graduating from the acting course at National Institute of Dramatic Art in 1999. Schmitz has performed extensively on stage for Sydney Theatre Company, Company B at Belvoir St Theatre, and Griffin Theatre Company. He has also made appearances in film and television. Some of his notable theater credits include The School for Scandal, The Great Man, Major Barbara, Hanging Man, The Great, Self Esteem, Rabbit, and Travesties. Schmitz has toured with several productions to Melbourne and other Australian capital cities.
