Tom Chick (born August 14, 1966) is an American actor and independent journalist. He is best known for his TV roles as Oscar's boyfriend Gil in the U.S. version of The Office and as the reporter Gordon in The West Wing. Chick attended Harvard Divinity School, where he focused on the Old Testament, but later decided not to pursue the ministry. He moved to Hollywood, California, to pursue a career in writing about video games and occasionally acted in television roles. Chick is also the co-founder and administrator of the web-based site Quarter to Three, which is dedicated to games discussion. He has written columns on video games for various online and print publications such as Firing Squad, Yahoo Games, GameSpy, GameSpot, Xtreme Gamer, 1Up, Rotten Tomatoes, and more.
