    Tom Dumont, born on January 11, 1968, is an American guitarist and producer. He gained prominence as a member of the third wave ska band No Doubt. During the band's hiatus, Dumont started a side project called Invincible Overlord and produced Matt Costa's album Songs We Sing. Growing up in Los Angeles, California, Dumont was the only adopted child in his family and has two siblings. He received a guitar from his pianist father at the age of twelve and developed his skills by strumming folk songs. Influenced by heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden and KISS, Dumont joined No Doubt in 1988. He also studied music theory at Orange Coast College. Dumont's contributions to the music industry have made him a respected figure.
