Tom Everett Scott

Tom Everett Scott (born September 7, 1970) is an American actor known for his roles in various films and television shows. He gained recognition for his starring role as drummer Guy Patterson in the film That Thing You Do! and as the protagonist in An American Werewolf in Paris. Scott has also appeared in notable films such as Boiler Room, One True Thing, Dead Man on Campus, The Love Letter, Because I Said So, Danger One, La La Land, and Clouds. In television, he has portrayed characters like Detective Russell Clarke in Southland, Charles Garnett in Z Nation, and Eric Wyczenski in ER. He co-starred in the truTV sitcom I'm Sorry. Scott was born in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and graduated from Syracuse University in 1992.
