Tom Fletcher, born Thomas Michael Fletcher on 17 July 1985, is an English singer, musician, songwriter, composer, author, and vlogger. He is best known as one of the lead vocalists and rhythm guitarists of the English pop rock band McFly, which he founded. Fletcher initially auditioned for the band Busted but ultimately became a member of McFly. With an impressive 20-year career as a professional songwriter, he has written 10 UK number one singles and 21 top-ten singles. Fletcher has also written songs for popular artists such as One Direction, Busted, the Vamps, and 5 Seconds of Summer. He attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London and married Giovanna Falcone in 2012. Fletcher's younger sister is musical theatre actress Carrie Hope Fletcher.
