Tom Gilroy
Tom Gilroy is an American director, writer, actor, producer, playwright, poet, musician, and teacher. He has written, directed, and produced five films, including the award-winning short 'Touch Base' and the critically acclaimed feature 'Spring Forward'. With over 20 television show appearances and 30 film credits, Gilroy has established himself as a versatile performer. He is the founder of the theatre company Machine Full, known for producing numerous critically acclaimed productions, such as the multi-media adaptation of 'Hamlet' for the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival. Gilroy is also a published haiku poet and has collaborated with renowned musician Michael Stipe on various projects. Additionally, he has taught as a professor at Columbia University and Davidson College.
