Tom Kenny, born Thomas James Kenny on July 13, 1962, is an American actor, voice artist, and comedian. He is best known for his role as the voice of the titular character in SpongeBob SquarePants since 1999. Kenny has also lent his voice to numerous other iconic characters, such as Heffer Wolfe in Rocko's Modern Life, the Ice King in Adventure Time, and the Narrator and Mayor in The Powerpuff Girls. His voice work extends beyond cartoons, including the portrayal of The Penguin in various animated media based on DC Comics. In addition to his voice acting, Kenny has appeared in live-action comedy variety shows like The Edge and Mr. Show.
