Tom Mardirosian
Tom Mardirosian (born December 14, 1947) is an American actor known for his roles in the HBO shows Oz and The Wire. He was born and raised in Buffalo, New York to Armenian parents Afro and Matthew Mardirosian. During his time in the army, Mardirosian was a member of a Special Forces troop, where he discovered his passion for acting. After his service, he appeared in numerous productions in Buffalo and received training at The Studio ARENA Theatre School. Mardirosian also had a Broadway role in The Magic Show at the Cort Theatre. He is actively involved with the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) in New York City, and his brother is actor and writer Oliver Clark.
