Tom Scharpling (born February 9, 1969) is an American comedian, television writer, producer, music video director, voice actor, and radio host. He gained recognition as the host of the weekly Internet radio call-in comedy program The Best Show with Tom Scharpling. He is also known for his voice acting role as Greg Universe in the animated series Steven Universe and its sequel series Steven Universe Future. Scharpling has worked as a writer and executive producer for the TV show Monk. Additionally, he has collaborated with Jon Wurster under the moniker Scharpling & Wurster, releasing six albums. Scharpling has directed music videos for various artists, including The New Pornographers, Ted Leo, and Aimee Mann.
