Tom Scholte

Tom Scholte is a Canadian actor and academic. He gained recognition for his role in the film Last Wedding, earning a Genie Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 22nd Genie Awards in 2002. He was also nominated for Best Actor in a Canadian Film at the Vancouver Film Critics Circle Awards 2001 for this performance. Scholte appeared in various films including Live Bait, Goldrush: A Real Life Alaskan Adventure, No More Monkeys Jumpin' on the Bed, Lunch with Charles, Moving Malcolm, See Grace Fly, Fathers & Sons, Sisters & Brothers, and Kingsway. On television, he was seen in The X-Files, Da Vinci's Inquest, and Cold Squad. Scholte is a co-founder of the Neworld Theatre Company and has received two Jessie Richardson Award nominations for his stage work.
