Tomiko Fraser Hines (born Tomiko Fraser on May 2, 1968) is an American fashion model and actress. She gained recognition as the first African-American face of Maybelline from 2001 to 2007. Fraser has a successful career in runway, print, and commercial modeling. In 2001, she starred in the movie Head over Heels. Raised in Bronx, New York, Fraser attended Cardinal Spellman High School and later pursued her passion for teaching. She comes from a large family of seven children, with her brother Terrell Fraser being a DJ. Fraser is also an advocate for lupus erythematosus awareness, due to her sister Shneequa's unfortunate passing from brain Lupus, and her aunt's death from scleroderma, a rare autoimmune disease.
