Tommy Dorfman

Tommy Dorfman (born May 13, 1992) is an American actress best known for her portrayal of Ryan Shaver in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why (2017). Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia to a Jewish family, Dorfman graduated from Fordham University's drama program in 2015 with a B.A. in theatre arts. She made her New York theatrical debut in 2019 in The New Group's production of Daddy. Dorfman is also known for her collaboration with ASOS on a fashion collection. In addition to her acting career, Dorfman is an openly queer individual. Dorfman was previously married to Peter Zurkuhlen and divorced in July 2021.
