Tone Bell, born Michael Anthony Bell II on August 10, 1983, is an American stand-up comedian and actor. Originally from Decatur, Georgia, Bell began his career as a first-grade teacher before venturing into the entertainment industry. He worked on the production of HBO's Warm Springs and took on various promotional roles. After a brief stint as a brand manager in San Francisco, he moved back to Atlanta and started doing promotion work for a beer company. This eventually led him to Dallas, where he began performing at open-mic nights in comedy clubs. In 2012, Bell achieved recognition by winning the NBC Stand Up For Diversity Talent Search and securing a development deal. He went on to star in NBC sitcoms Whitney and Bad Judge, as well as making appearances on other shows like VH1's Single Ladies, E!'s Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings, Comedy Central's Key and Peele, and Game Show Network's Mind of a Man. Bell has showcased his comedic talent and acting skills across various platforms.
