Tony Audenshaw

Tony Audenshaw, born on September 6, 1964, is an English actor and singer. He gained recognition for his role as Bob Hope on the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, a character he has portrayed since 2000. Prior to his role on Emmerdale, Audenshaw appeared in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside from 1994 to 1996. Throughout his career, he has received acclaim for his performances, including a nomination for Most Popular Newcomer at the 7th National Television Awards. Audenshaw's passion for acting and music began on stage, where he performed his own songs and sketches. He also participated in amateur theatre productions. Born in Denton, Lancashire, Audenshaw was married to Ruth, with whom he had two children before her passing in 2017.
