Tony Bennett

Tony Bennett (August 3, 1926 – July 21, 2023) was an American jazz and traditional pop singer. He achieved great success in his career, receiving numerous accolades including 20 Grammy Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Award, and two Primetime Emmy Awards. Bennett was known for his contributions to music and his talent as a singer. He sold over 50 million records worldwide and had a number-one popular song with "Because of You" in 1951. Bennett also made significant contributions offstage, founding the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Astoria, Queens, New York.
