Tony Burton Biography
Tony Burton (March 23, 1937 – February 25, 2016) was an American actor and boxer best known for his role as Tony 'Duke' Evers in the Rocky films. Born in Flint, Michigan, Burton was a graduate of Flint Northern High School where he excelled in both boxing and football. He was a Michigan Golden Gloves heavyweight boxing champion and a two-time all-state football player. In addition to his athletic achievements, Burton had a successful acting career, appearing in numerous movies and TV shows. He passed away on February 25, 2016, leaving behind a legacy as both a talented actor and a skilled athlete.
