Tony Cavalero, born on October 14, 1983, is an American actor and comedian known for his roles in various television shows and films. He gained popularity for portraying Dewey Finn in Nickelodeon's School of Rock and Keefe Chambers in the HBO series The Righteous Gemstones. Cavalero also played the role of Ozzy Osbourne in the film The Dirt. Born in Northern Virginia, he attended Poe Middle School and Annandale High School, where he excelled in varsity football, wrestling, and lacrosse. He is an Eagle Scout and a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Cavalero graduated from Virginia Military Institute, where he played varsity lacrosse. He moved to Los Angeles in 2006 and studied theater at CalStLA. He is a main company member of The Groundlings.
