Tony Darrow Biography
Tony Darrow (born Anthony Borgese; October 1, 1938) is an American actor and screenwriter known for his roles in Goodfellas, Bullets Over Broadway, The Sopranos, and other films and TV shows. Born and raised in East New York, Brooklyn, Darrow showed an early interest in show business and won talent shows while working odd jobs as a teenager. He began his career singing in nightclubs before receiving an offer to appear in Street Trash as a mobster. This led to director Martin Scorsese casting him in Goodfellas as the owner of the Bamboo Lounge. Darrow has also appeared in Woody Allen films such as Bullets over Broadway, Mighty Aphrodite, and Deconstructing Harry, among others.
