Tony Gardner

Tony Gardner (born 10 January 1964) is an English actor and doctor. He is known for his roles in various TV shows, commercials, and stage plays. Gardner started his career as a physician, earning his medical degree from Guy's Hospital in 1987 and later becoming a general practitioner in 1993. In the 1990s, he combined medicine and comedy as half of the comedy duo Struck Off and Die. Gardner transitioned to acting and gained prominence for his roles as Brian Johnson in CITV's My Parents Are Aliens and Michael in Jack Dee's Lead Balloon. He has also appeared in TV commercials, including the Renault Mégane ad. Gardner's notable TV appearances include Professor Tony Shales in Fresh Meat and John in Last Tango in Halifax.
