Tony Gardner is an English actor and doctor, known for his versatile career in both medicine and comedy. After qualifying as a physician at Guy's Hospital, he became a general practitioner before transitioning into the entertainment industry. During the 1990s, Gardner gained recognition as part of the comedy duo Struck Off and Die alongside Phil Hammond. He later ventured into acting and appeared in various TV commercials, including the Renault Mégane ad. Gardner's notable roles include Brian Johnson in CITV's My Parents Are Aliens and Michael in Jack Dee's sitcom Lead Balloon. He also starred in Sir Peter Hall's stage productions and portrayed Professor Tony Shales in Channel 4's Fresh Meat.
