Tony Kanal Biography
Tony Ashwin Kanal is a British-American musician, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as the bassist and co-writer for the rock bands No Doubt and Dreamcar. Kanal has also produced and written songs for various artists, including Pink, Weezer, Elan Atias, and his No Doubt bandmate Gwen Stefani. Born in Kingsbury, London, Kanal's parents emigrated from India to London before eventually settling in Anaheim, California when he was 11 years old. Kanal attended South Junior High School and Anaheim High School, where he developed his musical skills by joining the concert band. With his talent and contributions to the music industry, Kanal has established himself as a notable figure in the rock music scene.
